Pete is a member of FIL-AM for 15 years (1985). He is married and is blessed with four adult children and two granddaughters. He is a retired Navy Chief for 26 years in service; and was a federal employee.
He graduated from Arellano Public High School in Manila, Philippines in 1956. For college, he went to School of Fishery from the University of the Philippines (non-graduate).
He enlisted in the US Navy and became the first Filipino to graduate from Navy Optician School. He also completed and graduated as technician from Navy Preventive Medicine School. Pete was appointed instructor at the USMC/Navy Field Medical Service School and had worked as Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Marine.
What he considers his career highlights are : Service/retirement from the U.S. Navy and alliance with friends in membership in the Fil-Am Cultural Association of North San Diego County. |
