This
year, five talented and pretty Fil-Am girls from 9-12
years old are vying for the title of Miss Pre-teen 2009.
Aside from the title holder, there would be two runner-ups
(first and second) and also special awards like Miss
Congeniality, Miss Talent, Miss Photogenic, Best Gown,
Miss Popular and Viewer's Choice Award. Each will go
home a winner with great experiences and participation
trophy. Cash awards are also given to Miss Pre-teen,
1st and 2nd runner up, Miss Popular and Viewer's Choice
Award winner.

Miss
Pre-teen 2009 winners are (L-R) Mina Giles, 2nd runner-up,

of 2009 Little Miss Fil-Am and Miss Pre-teen were joined

AWARDING
AND CROWNING

2008
Miss Pre-teen Fil-Am Yannie Anne B. Labagnoy gave her
final walk and farewell speech as her reign ends.

2009
Miss Pre-teen Fil-Am Ydelle Serquina received tiara,
trophy, sash and bouquet. Aside from these, she will
be receiving $250.00 cash prize.

First
runner-up Jennifer Magbata received sash and trophy,
and will receive a cash prize of $150.00

Second
runner-up Mina Giles received sash and trophy, and will
be given $100 cash prize.

SPECIAL
AWARDS
All
the special awardees receive sash and trophy but for
Miss Popular and Viewer's Choice, they receive trophy
and 10% cash value for total ticket sales and 10% cash
value for total votes, respectively.
Janine
Ferrer won Best Gown and Most Popular.
Gloria
Giles won Miss Congeniality and Viewer's Choice Award.
Mina
Giles won Most Photogenic and Best Talent for her dance
no. in the tune of " Boom Boom Paw" by Black
Eyed Peas.

swimming and play the piano. Her talent is to
play the song titled "Rainbow Connection"
on the keyboard.

PRE-PAGEANT
: PRACTICE WITH FUN AT THE PARK
Before
the pageant, these girls spend their Sundays practicing
at the Luiseno Park (in Oceanside) on how to walk
with grace, talk with poise and confidence and how
to dance in sync with the group. It is learning with
fun!
