The annual FIL-AM picnic was held at Lake O'Neil in Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California on Aug. 28, 2011 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. There were a lot of food, loads of fun and games! There was lechon for everyone to enjoy aside from the various dishes the members shared. There were activities that can be done like boat paddling, swimming and others. "Pabitin" where goodies were hang for kids to reach made the day blasting with fun! It was also time for members to renew their membership. Certificate of Appreciation was also given to members for their contribution to the success of the organization. Above all, it was also a time to develop new friends and rekindle old ones, and for families to get-together in the Filipino spirit of unity or "bayanihan".
