LITTLE MISS FIL-AM 2010


 

Nothing could be more than entertaining than to watch these three (3) young girls, two are 5 years old and one is 8 years old, compete for the Little Miss Fil-Am 2010 title. They may look very young but they are teeming with talent and matured enough to handle the pressures of competition. The pageant had tapped their talents in dancing, singing and modeling. It also developed their positive attitude towards competition and interaction with fellow candidates - which is what the Little Miss Fil-Am pageant is all about.

Little Miss Fil-AM 2nd Runner-Up MONA ABRAZADO, 8 years old.

Little Miss Fil-Am 2010 MIKAELA was joined by Little Miss Pre-teen 2010 AVALYNN DELA ROSA together with the 2010 Miss Oceanside, Miss Teen Oceanside & their court, and Miss Baby Southern Califonia.

AWARDING AND CROWNING


Trophies, cash award and sash are given to Little Miss Fil-Am and her court. Special awards are also given like Miss Congeniality, Best Gown, Best Talent, Miss Popular and Viewer's Choice.


The winners went through the lovely scrutiny of these five (5) pretty ladies - (from right to left) 2010 Miss Oceanside LAURYN MOSES and Miss Teen Oceanside DEMI MUNDO and her court Miss Teen Oceanside 1st Princess JONELLE GUY, 3rd Princess JACKIE MONTANO and 2nd Princess ANGELICA ZAMORA and Miss Oceanside 2nd Princess ELISE CRUZ.


Fil-AM member ALEX TUAZON and the candidates' choreographer MOLLY YOUNG did the hosting of the pageant.


Little Miss Fil-Am 2009 MELANIE PAGAYONAN did her farewell walk and speech before she crowns the new winner.


The audience decides who will win the Viewer's Choice Award by putting their votes ($1 = 1 vote) for their respective candidates. The winning candidate will get 20% of the total votes she gathered.


Little Miss Fil-Am 2010 MIKAELA UYCHIAT-PISON was crowned by former winner MELANIE PAGAYONAN, awarded with trophy and sash by Mrs Fil-Am 2010 ROSE WALLACE, and Mrs. Fil-Am 2010 1st Runner-Up HELEN DAVILA.


Little Miss Fil-Am 2010 1st runner-up is CAMILLE IWASAKO and 2nd runner-up is MONA ABRAZADO.

SPECIAL AWARDS



Viewer's Choice winner MIKAELA UYCHIAT-PISON receiving her trophy. She will also receive 20% of the total votes she garnered from the audience or viewers.


Miss Congeniality is MIKAELA UYCHIAT-PISON, who was chosen by her fellow candidates to win the award, was given sash and trophy.


The judges picked for Miss Photogenic MONA ABRAZADO, for which she received sash and trophy.


Recipient of sash and trophy for Best Talent award is CAMILLE IWASAKO for her rendition of Miley Cyrus's "The Climb"



Everyone loves this cute girl wearing her fabulous gown - MIKAELA UYCHIAT-PISON - winner of Best Gown and recipient of sash and trophy



Miss Popular winner is CAMILLE IWASAKO for selling most number of tickets and for which she will receive a trophy and cash award equivalent to 20% of her total sales.


Aside from special awards, all candidates received participation trophies.

MIKAELA UYCHIAT-PISON is 5 years old from Temecula,CA. She's currently a Pre-kindergarten at
Old Mission Montessori School. She is a recipient of Shark Award for a
level 5 swimmer in 2009. She enjoys singing, dancing, dressing up and
swimming.
Her talent is to perform a Tahitian Dance to the tune of "Pepe"

BEST GOWN COMPETITION and QUESTION-AND-ANSWER PORTION

The candidates modeled their fabulous gowns depicting grace and elegance. After which, the question-and-answer portion of the program followed wherein the candidates gave their responses to questions randomly picked out by them. This is where the candidates' poise, grace and personality are taken into account by the judges.

REHEARSALS AT THE PARK

The candidates spent numerous weekends at the Luiseno Park in Vandegrift Blvd. cor. Douglas Dr in Oceanside, California, to learn their group dance, modeling and to develop self-confidence in public speaking by introducing themselves to the audience and handling interviews.

THE CHOREOGRAPHER - MOLLY YOUNG


Molly Young is 18 years old and a recent graduate from Fallbrook High School. She was the Cheer Captain of the Fallbrook High School (FHS) Cheerleading Team and was also the Team Captain/Choreographer of the FHS Dance Team. She had many years of experience in competitive dance.
